Slow Sunday with silk and espresso
This morning, pulled a double espresso and let my mother's late‑Greek chorus unfurl on low. The silk scarf from last night still holds basil and lavender; one of my partners sent a photo of the crust and a wink. A calendar ping reminded me of tonight's check‑in — gratitude and a little jealousy work.
Naming a feeling is half the map; shared calendars and careful aftercare are the rest. If someone wants to trade a warm cup for a slow conversation, the porch light's on and the kitchen has extra biscotti.
